EXISTING LAWN RENOVATION

Is your lawn in need of repair or renovation? Over time insects, disease and poor soil conditions can combine to degrade the quality of your lawn. Restoring your lawn may not be as expensive as you think. Most existing lawns do not need to be torn up and replaced as many people think. In most cases slice seeding or topdressing will repair the damaged areas without costly removal and regrading.

CHOOSE TOPDRESSING IF YOUR LAWN HAS…
…more than 50% grass coverage and the weeds are not severe. Your lawn will be aerated and topdressing with a ½ to 1 inch layer of compost and seed. Late summer or early fall is an excellent time to choose this option. The process involves giving the lawn good core aeration then applying approximately a 1 inch layer of compost utilizing our custom blower truck. This is a time- tested method used by golf course superintendents to improve the quality of their greens and tees, and it will work equally well on your home lawn. Top dressing is less costly and will generate similar result to total lawn renovation at a fraction of the cost. SEE PRICE SHEET BELOW

CHOOSE SLICE SEEDING IF YOUR LAWN HAS….. Good soils, light weed cover and no large bare areas. Slice seeding is a cost effective way to improve your lawn. Small furrows are sliced into your existing turf and seed is dropped directly into the furrows. Fertilizer and soil amendments are then applied to the surface as needed to achieve the proper conditions for good seed germination. There is no costly and unsightly digging and within a few weeks new grass seedlings will begin to fill in thin and bare areas. This is our least costly method of lawn renovation and is commonly used by turf professionals to thicken turf on sports fields without disturbing the playing surface. SEE PRICE SHEET BELOW

CHOOSE BROADCAST PELLETIZED SEEDING IF YOUR PROPERTY IS…
…completely graded and you have an adequate loam base. This is your most economical method of seeding your new lawn utilizing methods used for decades in lawn establishment. Seed, Fertilizer, Lime and a Pelletized Mulch are applied separately to the lawn. This application insures excellent soil seed contact and the mulch includes tackifiers to insure that soils are kept in place until germination is achieved. SEE PRICE SHEET BELOW

CHOOSE HYDROSEEDING IF YOUR PROPERTY IS…
…completely graded and you have an adequate loam base. This is an excellent time-tested method for seeding your property. Hydroseeding has been used for many years as a superior method of seeding bare ground areas. Seed, starter fertilizer, lime and fiber mulch are combined in a tank mixture with water. This is then sprayed evenly over the freshly loamed area, and will begin to germinate within approximately 10 days. SEE PRICE SHEET BELOW

CHOOSE TERRASEEDING IF YOUR PROPERTY NEEDS…
…more loam or has poor quality loam or minor grading issues to resolve. Certified Erosion Control uses a process called Terraseeding, where compost is installed, final grading can be adjusted and seeding can all be completed in one easy step. Utilizing Blower technology, Certified Erosion Control applies a layer of compost, with seed blended directly into the material as it is being applied. Compost can be installed quickly and easily, even in hard to reach areas, such as gated back yards, terraces or even rooftop planters. Grading is accomplished without the complications associated with unneeded compaction from bulldozers or Bobcats. Although Terraseeding is our most expensive application, in many cases Terraseeding is your most cost effective option for superior turf establishment. SEE PRICE SHEET BELOW
